RAEP 2009 (Recent Advances in Environmental Protection), an international conference and exhibition, is being organized by Chemistry Department, St. John’s College, Agra, India in a 5-star hotel  Clarks Shiraz, Agra from December 17-19, 2009. It will provide a common platform to the stakeholders from India and abroad to interact and exchange knowledge, share experiences of success in environmental protection, and find the workable emerging environmental problems. The deliberations at the conference will mutually help in evolving sustainable perspective plan for preserving and protecting our environment, and also getting heritage status to monuments of Agra from the United Nations.

The organizing committee takes the pleasure of cordially inviting you and your colleagues to participate in RAEP 2009 and deliberate on various themes.

RAEP 2009 addresses various environmental issues prevalent in India and abroad. It covers major areas of environmental protection e.g. Global Environmental Issues, Ecoconservation, Pollution Control, Sustainable Development, Energy Conservation, Disease Prevention, Waste Management, Ecoagriculture, Disaster Management, Public Awareness, Biotechnology, Social Issues and Legislation. RAEP 2009 will feature more than 200 technical papers from more than 50 countries and will give an unique survey about the latest research in the above fields. It will assert on the recent methods to protect and improve the natural environment including air, water, soil, minerals, forests, lakes, rivers and wildlife. It proposes to bring scientists, technocrats and entrepreneurs under one umbrella for effective deliberations on the relevant topics. Its deliberations will help us to upgrade our knowledge about recent advances in the field of environmental protection. It is being geared to provide a unique forum where experts around the world present and publish their research, interact and collaborate with their counterparts for a more effective strategic move in the direction.
